Our September series runs Thursdays from Sept. 7-28; our Nov/Dec series runs Tuesdays from Nov. 7-Dec. 5 (no class the week of Thanksgiving). Conveniently available via distance learning (with recordings available afterward on request, for a limited time), each class is two hours, and includes Q&A.
Most students choose to take all four classes (with an automatic series discount). (And there’s also a 10% discount available to company teams of 5 or more). But classes are also available to purchase individually.
Prime Clauses (Sept. 7/Nov. 7): The central promise and transaction in contracts about software, AI, cloud computing and other forms of IT (the promise of cloud services; license to on-premise software; promise of professional services). General Clauses (Sept. 14/Nov. 14): Commercial clauses (such as technical specifications, SLAs, business continuity and disaster recovery, non-disclosure) and data clauses (including location, security, incidents, privacy, audits).

End-Game & Special Clauses (Sept. 28/Dec. 5): Term & termination; transition and deconversion of AI and cloud data; non-solicits and noncompetes; dispute management, mediation, arbitration, waiver of class actions, jury trials; ancillary IP terms; supporting “boilerplate” clauses; open source software.
This fall, we also offer several one hour webinars. Two are returning topics, but enhanced with new content about artificial intelligence contracts. And our November webinar is brand new, about AI in the legal and contracting professions.
